A NARS obsession confession

OTT to some but if anyone has owned a NARS then they’ll know what I mean. So easy to become obsessed.

NARS – François Nars – a visionary who loves the unusual in women. He loves diversity and has a broad range of colours to reflect this, allowing women to explore and create looks unique to themselves. He even shoots his own ad campaigns so knows how to make sure his products work well in photos, as well as in the flesh. And to top it all, he lives on a private island in Tahiti from where he gets his seasonal inspiration. I love.

it's a nars party

it’s a nars party – well used and well loved

Why do I love them so much? No slipping, melting or smudging. No looking caked, mis-matched or blotchy. Long-lasting, skin-healing and corrective. Colours that pop, nudes that are natural and ingredients that are inspired by Mother Earth. What’s not to love.

What you see here are: Pore refining primer, Multi protect primer SPF30, Body glow, 2 shades of Pure radiant tinted moisturiser (because I mix a bit of the darker one into my regular one in the summer when my skin is more tanned), Radiant cream compact foundation (I replaced my Armani one with this one because NARS photographs better), blusher in Orgasm, eye palette in Arabian nights, Multiple in Portofino, Eye paint in Iskandar (gold), Nail polish in TV party, Larger than life eye liner in Abbey Road, Satin lip pencil in Timanfaya and a lip liner in Fantasia. The only item missing is my Laguna Illuminator (I seem to have misplaced this little darling).
