Balance me protect & shone shampoo & conditioner
Balance me is a brand I have a lot of time for – home made here in the UK, using natural ingredients, and providing effective results. I’m already a fan of their radiance face oil, and was super keen to try out their latest innovation – their protect & shine shampoo & conditioner set.
This was a sample sent to me to try out, and I honestly cannot say that I loved it as much as the face oil. My hair was left feeling quite dry and straw-like.
The shampoo is infused with grapefruit and mandarin, smells divine and doesn’t strip hair, due to it being sulphate-free. The conditioner is infused with argan oil and is quite thick, but rinses out easily. My hair was left detangled, but when dry there wasn’t the smoothness and gloss that were promised by the use of argan and sweet almond oils. I think it is more suited to hair that is not wavy or curly, or prone to frizz.
At £10 each for 200ml, it is not that expensive for shampoo and conditioner that is 97-98% natural. You can buy it online here and they sell 30ml tubes too, so you could try a smaller sample to see if it suits your hair type.
