If, like me, you’ve not got a holiday coming up soon, and you long for easy, beach hair then give this a try – Pureology’s sea-kissed texturiser. Admittedly it is for highlighted hair but that just means it is more gentle and designed to protect colour. It’s the first one I’ve found that doesn’t have salt in it, and that actually works – it’s great for when I’m in a rush and don’t have time for a blow dry – a quick spritz of this and I’m good to go. Hair dries naturally, feels soft, and doesn’t frizz.
There are plenty of salt sprays on the market, but the chloride in them tends to strip hair of all oils, leaving it parched (which is why hair is in dire need of conditioning treatments when back from holiday). And as my shampoo and conditioner are sulfate, chloride and paraben free, I see no point in undoing the good they are doing me. I love Pureology. In fact, my shampoo and conditioner are from there too – hydrate range.
So, you can enjoy a bit of beach life in the city. Hello Summer.
