Decléor micellar oil – a cleanser that I have fallen in love with after just 2 uses

After learning about Micellar waters, and stocking up on some (a giant bottle of Taaj Himalayan micellar water), I decided to try out the Decléor one (magpie that I am). It’s a brand I trust and have been using for years.

Decléor’s micellar water is good! There is no doubt about it. A little goes a long way and make up comes off first time, no need to wash a second time as long as it’s been massaged properly. Skin’s not taught afterwards, there is no stinging or redness so suitable for sensitive skin. My skin is looking clearer after a month’s use. I don’t use it in the mornings though – that’s reserved for my Decléor face wash (just because I love it).

How to use

The oil is applied to dry skin and massaged to break down make up, and then water added to mix into an emulsion which is massaged into skin some more to really get make up off, and a final rinse leaves skin clean and supple. My favourite ingredient of sweet almond oil is contained within, as well as an extract of olive oil (vegetal squalane). The rest of the science bit is here, better told by Decléor themselves.

It is the best cleanser I have used, and takes the best from both cleansing oils and micellar waters, and combines it with Decléor’s expertise in essential oils to create a hybrid perfect for sensitive and dry skin. I’m seeing the benefits of using this in winter already.

Have you given it a try yet? What did you think?
