It’s a matt black kajal (eye liner) that stays put all day. It’s waterproof and smudge proof. Great if you want it to last all day. I found Lakmé eyeconic kajal on instagram not that long ago, and decided to give it a try based on a blogger’s recommendation.
It goes on smooth, much like kajal is supposed to do – it’s smoother than other eye liners, and it definitely doesn’t budge, which is great if you want a solid black line, but I like to smudge it a bit so it doesn’t look as harsh – not easy to do at all. But I didn’t end up with black smudges under my eyes by the end of the night which has to be a first for me.
I also used it on my waterline (inside rims) and it stayed in place all evening but it made my eyes itch slightly and they were bloodshot once I took off my makeup, so I’m now a bit hesitant to use it on my waterline again just in case I am allergic to it. I will definitely use it on my upper lids to create a cat eye – I don’t use liquid and gel eyeliner much because they are not very flexible when dry (I can feel them pull on my eyelids). I think this kajal will create a great cat eye.
You can buy it online via amazon and it costs £3.50.
My rating
My score is a 7/10 – points lost for not being smudgeable, and making my eyes itch (2 points lost for that one).
I have that! And I love it! It stays on for almost the whole day! Wish I could’ve bought more!
Oh cool! Where did you buy it from? I am after their silk kajal too but can’t find it anywhere here in the uk!
Good result!
