I don’t buy many beauty boxes, mainly because there end up being a few products contained within that never get used or are unwanted. I do like the ones from Latest in Beauty though, not just because they contain products I like, but because the majority of them are a decent size! And guess what, I love this Burt’s Bees Beauty Box. I’m a fan of cleansers already, believing this is the no 1 way for maintaining great skin, and this box doesn’t disappoint – there are 4 cleansers to choose from, and a lip balm, a lip crayon, and a sample of night cream. Not bad at all!
I’ve tried out the soap bark & chamomile deep cleansing cream to remove makeup already, as well as the orange essence facial cleanser in the shower. Both work fine on my sensitive skin, and leave it not feeling dry at all. If you like squeaky clean skin that doesn’t have residue left behind from their cleanser then I think you may not like the orange essence facial cleanser as much (you can always send yours to me :)). I am yet to try the peach & willow bark deep pore scrub and the facial cleansing towelettes (sadly I am not a fan of face wipes but that’s not a bad outcome is it – just one item out of the Burt’s Bees beauty box that I don’t like).
Their lip balm is an old staple. I hope they have reformulated them because I have found they are not strong enough for my dry lips, and I end up reapplying too many times in the day. The lip crayon is a gorgeous colour and I’m looking forward to road testing it this summer. It is just the right shade of pink – this particular shade is called hawaiian smoulder – and it feels like it could be super hydrating (look at the sheen of the colour on my skin).
I’ve never really tried anything by Burt’s Bees (which is odd, because I know they’ve got a great reputation!). I’ll definitely have to give some of their skincare a try. And that lip crayon looks amazing! I hope it works as nicely as it looks! 🙂
Hi Erin. I hadn’t really except for their lip balms. This box is a great way to try them out x
