NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer doesn’t get trapped in the lines under eyes

It’s happening to me. Concealer getting trapped in the lines under my eyes. And it gets worse in this Summer heat.

For years I have used Bobbi Brown’s creamy concealer in Honey, religiously applying with my concealer brush, and blending, blending, blending. Lately it’s been sitting heavy on my skin and not really doing its job of staying put and creating the illusion of a well rested eye. It’s been creeping into the fine lines around my eyes, which ends up accentuating them (the lines).

Naturally, I turned to NARS, but not after extensive research to rule out any other brands. The thing I love about NARS is that it has a broad range of colours that suits all skin tones and their complexion products contain skin improving ingredients, so end up feeling like more than just make-up. My St Moritz pure radiant tinted moisturiser is a perfect example.

NARS radiant creamy concealer is light in texture and hydrating, so sits lightly on the skin. It has a brightening effect, neutralising dark circles with its light reflecting technology, and stays put without sliding into fine lines. It’s buildable coverage, and I find I only need a swipe to do the job of creating a youthful and more rested eye. It’s versatile enough to be used on the face too, covering up any blemishes (I use it on either side of my nose to make it look a bit slimmer).

Like the rest of the NARS range, it is free of the nasties that can irritate sensitive skin (paraben, alcohol, synthetic fragrance) and is non comedogenic – doesn’t block pores.

Sorry Bobbi Brown, after nearly 10 years together I have had to move on. Blame it on the wrinkles 🙂
