Rodial instaglam highlighter
I don’t know what it is about spring but it gets me in the mood to play with make up more than normal. Is it because the clocks have changed and there is more light in the mornings, meaning you rise earlier and no longer need to apply makeup in the dark? I’ve noticed this is a pattern with me – come spring and I am all about the make up!
Anyway, back to this post…Rodial instaglam highlighter is a fab little pen that can be dabbed wherever it is needed to add a bit of definition or illumination. It is a yellow tone which is universal in its suitability for most skin tones. I blend mine so that it isn’t too obvious, but any highlighting needs to be blended well anyway.
I love the creamy consistency, which helps add a glow to skin – much needed towards the end of the work day which is when I whip this out to help prep skin for a night out. I use it above cheek bones, just under brows and sometimes under eyes if the dark circles are looking particularly purple.
The highlighter costs £25 and can be bought here.
More love on its way…. for Mrs Rodial and what she stands for – she is an inspiration to me – follow her on instagram and you’ll see what I mean. I attended the first birthday party for the make up line late last year, and got to try out some of the products. I can’t wait for the skin tint to come out in some more shades….the dewy, glowing, and hydrating finish is too too too appealing. It’s packed full of good stuff (amino-peptides) which is anti-ageing, whilst being light on the skin and providing medium coverage.
