Spot Me blemish treatment gel from Yours Truly Organics

Those pesky spots and blemishes still strike now, and this little baby will come in handy. Yours Truly Organics have launched a blemish treatment / spot treatment / gel – Spot Me – which combines natural ingredients in a gel formula to help soothe inflammation and encourage skin to heal.

Extracts of willow bark, papaya fruit, and apple fruit combine with lemongrass oil to shrink the spot, encourage skin renewal and prevent a further breakout. I hadn’t  fully appreciated how extensively willow bark extract can help with blemishes until now; not only does it soothe inflammation, it can exfoliate too (contains salicylic acid), and also aid skin rejuvenation (contains phenolic acids and minerals).

Papain enzymes from papaya fruit extract help break down and remove dead/damaged skin, revealing a healthier and brighter complexion. Skin is nourished with apple fruit extract. And lemongrass oil does another sterling job of reducing the size of the spot and pore with its astringent properties, and preventing any further breakouts with its anti-microbial, anti-bacterial, and anti-fungal properties.

Harnessing the power of natural ingredients is key for the founder of Yours Truly Organics, Kelita Bignall, who I had the pleasure of meeting at her Thirty Plus launch event recently. She says:

“When developing the Yours Truly Organics range I wanted to use natural ingredients that balance the skin and enhance natural beauty without the use of harsh or aggressive ingredients. All products are made in the UK and approved by Ecocert, meaning they’re at least 95% natural and free of GMO’s, parabens and synthetic chemistry.”

To top it all Kelita is passionate about her products being cruelty free. A big win for me! You can buy Spot Me for £15 for 10ml at Whole Foods Market and online from her website in the next few months (sorry I don’t have a more accurate date – have been told that it will be available in the next few months though, so keep checking online).

Disclosure: I was not compensated for this post, however I did receive a sample to try. All opinions are my own and not influenced in any way.
