The Charlotte Tilbury retoucher – magics away imperfections

Charlotte Tilbury retoucher – conceal & treat stick

I have resisted the wave of hysteria that followed the launch of Charlotte Tilbury’s make up range for as long as possible. No more. I have joined the legion of fans who love her products. Well one actually – Charlotte Tilbury’s retoucher – conceal & treat stick.

It’s a concealer in a pen (nothing new there) that has 10 shades to choose from (hmm maybe something there), contains hydrating ingredients to prevent skin from drying out (definitely a good thing), is a light formula that blends easily and can be layered so that coverage is more dense without being obvious (great stuff), and you don’t end up pulling skin under eyes at all (bonus!).

I use medium 4 it to cover the dark circles under my eyes and it seems to last most of the day. I don’t mind carrying this in my handbag for touch ups throughout the day – multi-purpose as it also blends well on skin to cover any areas where tinted moisturiser has worn away.

It’s not drying like some concealers can be, so skin looks luminous and not cakey. It doesn’t seem to settle into my fine lines under my eyes – another bonus – making it less obvious that I have concealer on (or even more obvious that I have lines under my eyes).

It contains lots of goodies to help smooth, conceal, moisturise and plump up skin (hydrating complex, black tea derivative, lipo-siliconic compound, and elastomer pearls), and is also paraben free. No breakouts, no sensitivity.

It is a magic little pen, and does make me feel like I am retouching away any imperfections.
